Hi, I'm Barbie! I am 57 years old. I grew up in Campbell and have lived my entire adult life in Willow Glen…except for a short stint in the California Conservation Corp. I went to Camden High School and attended West Valley College. I have completed courses in Compassion Cultivation Training and MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). I have been happily married to my loving husband for 36 years and have one wonderful son. I also have two grown stepchildren and two young grandsons.

My previous work experience includes:

• *School bus driver for special needs children
• *Certified Swim Instructor
• *Baker/Server at Manley’s Donuts
• *Gymnastics instructor at the YMCA
• *Teacher’s Aide for the Resource Specialist at Hellyer Elementary School.

I have three cats and have owned three others in the past. I had a goldfish that lived for 14 years! (The secret is three square meals a day plus snacks!) I play the guitar and love to sing. I enjoy gardening and cooking and I feed the birds and squirrels every morning.

I am punctual, detail oriented and organized. I’m lactose intolerant but I refuse to give up cheese. I love reading Steven King but I startle easily! I love to laugh, especially at myself. I try to live mindfully and to take one day at a time.
